He might be spot on, but he still looks incredibly silly.

Looks like a reject from a bad early 80's Flash Gordon movie..keep expecting Flash to fly by blind on a rocket cycle....

What? This is the first accurate costume they have EVER had on Smallville, not that I am complaining. I like that Smallville exists in a universe without silly costumes.

Im a Marvel guy less than a DC guy. Wonder how Hawkman catches on as a modern charterer. Always loved his toy when I was a kid tho.

Well, yeah, the costume itself is quite accurate, give or take a few details, but Hawkman, like many a comic character, doesn't translate well to real life. It doesn't help that Carter is suppose to be built like a tank, and that actor appears to have a physique that rivals Adam West's.

Looks like an action figure on stings. Hawkman is dead in the comics thanks to Blackest Night. Its better that way.

Should have had Harvey Birdman instead.

is it just me or does that look like a panel from a comic book and not an actual photgraph , or am i just still half asleep.

Have the regular Smallville characters heard about the Society members?
No. That’s a big plot point to find out how come they’ve never heard of these people.

Oh, god. Earth 2.

How can this guy by Hawkman with those silly string arms?

I'm not really feeling the whole "tough love" angle that they will play. It's been done to death.

I'd say both companies have their own share of lame characters.

I love Michael Shanks. Glad to see him in this role.

Hawkman is not going to be in the current continuity. I believe I read somewhere where they are doing a Justice Society story based in the past. Has potential to be really good or really bad.

Smallville is awesome. They even made the Wonder Twins entertaining!

So... up until now they've managed to put at the very least a "real world" spin on DC characters.
And then for Hawkman, they just borrow the Hawkman costume from the Baby Ruth commercials? Lame.

The movie will be called 'Absolute Justice'.
